Darcey Bussell =3

Darcey Bussell is one of the coolest ballerinas, and she's still around now! She was born in London and went to the Arts Educational School where she studied stage-craft before deciding to focus her talent on ballet when she was 13.

She joined Sadler's Wells Royal Ballet and performed lots of of principal roles when she was only 20! She has featured in lots of the most famous ballets during her career and in 1990 she was voted Dancer and appeared on TV.

She recently retired from Ballet but she has been on tour with opera singer Katherine Jenkins in a show of dance and music called "Viva La Diva". There are loads of DVDs of her performance so make sure you waych them because she's amazing!
